I probably spend most of my day writing blogs, walking the dogs, cleaning up after dogs (and cats), listening to 6 Radio, knitting, finding reasons not to do any gardening etc.
Officially, I earn a (very thin) crust by writing CVs and proofreading websites under the guise of PT Virtual Assistant.
In November 2007 I completed an eighteen month course with the Horticultural Correspondence College that followed the syllabus for the RHS level 2 Certificate in Horticulture. The course focuses on the scientific principles behind horticulture which, although I found some of it boring and hard going at the time, does equip you with the best tool possible: knowledge.

I thought perhaps this might of interest to your readers.
